Larry Ellison, founder of the tech company Oracle, announced Tuesday that the company’s world headquarters will be moved to Nashville.
Ellison made the announcement during the Oracle Health Summit in Music City, saying the move is driven by the company’s desire to be “in the center” of the healthcare industry.
“We want to be in a health center. It’s the center of the industry we’re most concerned about, which is the health care industry,” Ellison said.
“And we want to be in a community — and I use that word very precisely — we want to be part of a community where our people want to live,” he added.

“Nashville is a fabulous place to live. It’s a great place to raise a family. It has a unique and vibrant culture. As we surveyed our employees in large numbers, Nashville ticked all the boxes of, this is where I’d love to raise a family, this is where I’d love to go to work,” Ellison continued.
Regarding the headquarters’ overall design, Ellison said the location is “right on the river” and will not “look anything like a corporate campus.”
“It’s not going to look anything like a corporate campus. What we’re building is a park. It’s a park first, which has buildings in it. Those buildings not only include office buildings, but a community clinic, a restaurant…a hotel, a concert venue, a lake with a floating stage…We want to be a part of the community, our people love it here and we think it’s the center of our future,” Ellison said.
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee applauded the company’s establishment of its world headquarters in Nashville, saying, “We’re proud this trusted company has picked the Volunteer State as its new world headquarters.”

Oracle currently operates one location in Nashville, which was granted $175 million in local property tax breaks to “further develop infrastructure around the area” in May 2021. In return, Metro Nashville agreed to reimburse part of Oracle’s property tax revenue over the next 25 years or until the company’s investment is paid off.
In addition, in September 2021, state leaders approved a measure through an anonymous vote to provide approximately $65 million in economic incentives for Oracle to build a new campus in Nashville.
The company’s current world headquarters campus is located in Austin, Texas.

These are “termites” .Through their ideology, they destroy where they live and then move on to destroy new neighborhoods. Gov Lee is ecstatic that he is helping turn Tennessee into a Blue State, one city at a time.
Oracle’s liberal culture is a perfect fit for Nashville’s loony left population.
Question: Where are all of these new employees going to live?
